Born in Switzerland to a family of restaurant owners, Hervé Fournier studied both in Switzerland and in the USA where he lived for five years and met his wife. He returned to Switzerland to operate a hotel and night club. He worked for 22 years at “César Ritz” Colleges. In 1997 he was appointed School Director. He has also completed a Master of Science Degree in International Hospitality Management at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. As Vice-President, he held responsibilities in campus operations, as well as in international development and recruitment for the “César Ritz” Colleges group. He led the “César Ritz” team of staff and students who operated the House of Switzerland, the official restaurant of the Swiss Olympic delegation at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games as well as in Torino for the 2006 Winter Olympics and in Beijing in 2008. After joining IDC-Infinity Development & Consulting, a firm specialised in consulting services for the hospitality industry with a branch in Chengdu, P.R. China, he was hired as Project Manager at Antenne Regions Valais Romand, active in regional economic development.
