The Zermatt Summit Foundation was created through the collaboration of a variety of stakeholders across the globe concerned with how the process of globalization can enhance the common good. The 2nd Zermatt Summit "Humanizing Globalization" took place at the Zermatterhof hotel in presence of 150 delegates from 16 countries. Several key notes and panel discussions highlighted the concerns regarding social corportate responsibility as well as how to put ethics back in the world of business and finance. For example, Father Nicolas Buttet asked in his key note "Isn't it time for a paradigm change : the global economy to serve the human person?"
